Record of Narrow-leaved Ragwort (Senecio inaequidens DC.) in town of Nový Jičín (Northern Moravia, Czech Republic)
- Nerudova 5, CZ-741 01 Nový Jičín
The invasive species Senecio inaequidens was found in town of Nový Jičín, Czech Republic. This finding represents the first evidence of road traffic introduction of this species in the northeastern part of the Czech Republic. Because of this new introduction alongside the road in the urban area, it may suggest this is due to the intensity of the road traflic in this region. Possible self-incompatibility of the plants found is shortly discussed.
